Cemetery & Funeral Guide
Selling
Property
Thank you for your interest in listing your cemetery
property for sale.
As
a Licensed Cemetery Broker by the State of California, Board of
Consumer Affairs, We list all cemetery
property for sale, to include burial grave plots, mausoleum
crypts, cremation niches and lawn crypts, similiar to the way
a real estate broker lists residential or commercial
property for sale.
To
list your cemetery property for sale, I request a copy of the
original deed/ownership certificate or a copy of the original
agreement for the property so that I can evaluate your cemetery
property and make an appraisal.
Furthermore having a photocopy of your original cemetery property
documents allows us to make sure we receive the appropiate verified
information back from the cemtery in a timely maner,
After we have completed our evaluation of your cemetery grave
lots, I will then send back to (you) a written proposal stating
the dollar amount (you) the seller will receive for your
burial
plot upon a completed successful sale. (In some
instances, the proposal will also include an offer for purchasing
the cemetery
property for sale outright from (you) the seller.)
If
the cemtery appraisal is accepted, a Special Power of Attorney
(which has beeen approved by the cemetery) and a Listing Agreement
will be sent in a proposal package along with other special documents
as the situation may require. All cemetery transfer fees and
commissions are paid by the purchaser.
All
of the legal cemetery documents must be either properly signed
and/or notarized and returned back to the Cemtery Broker, so that
we may actively show your cemetery property. As the seller's agent,
we will take care of all the details between the purchaser and
the cemetery. Then, when the cemetery transfer deed is completed,
payment is made to (you) the seller.
I
believe this satisfactorily describes the process and service
we offer for burial
plots that are for
sale. We will do our utmost to fulfill the confidence
(you) our clients place in us.
